Eurocamp

Eurocamp

I came across Eurocamp whilst browsing through the travel section of the UK Telegraph as I do every week when I’m bored at work.  They offer apartment, static caravan (mobile home) and tent rentals at very reasonable prices.  This may not sound too appealing to those who don’t enjoy camping, but Eurocamp’s accomodations are stylish, quirky and well thought-out.

Prices start as low at 15 GBP/night/party and many of their rooms sleep 5+ people, making it a great option for group travel.  At 15/night a group of 5 would only have to pay 3 GBP/night!  Eurocamp also includes extra services like welcome packs (essential goodies like refreshments, toiletries, etc.), ferry and plane tickets.  For the more adventurous traveller, Eurocamp also offers the option to buy a number of nights that can be used at any Eurocamp site.

I am planning a trip to Normandy, France and I think I will be trying out Eurocamp for the first time then!

Spaceships - An Aussie based company that rents out customized minivans for those in search of a true road trip adventure through Australia, New Zealand or the UK.  The vans come with DVD players, portable cookers and convertible sleeping arrangements. I plan on going to Australia with the BF sometime in the next year or two and I REALLY want to rent a spaceship.  We love road trips, but renting a car AND reserving hotel rooms can be expensive.  Spaceships cost about $50 AUD a day!  I picked up one of their brochures from an Australian restaurant here in London and I haven’t been able to put it down. I can’t wait to try one and write a review/blog about it.
