A few weeks ago I sent in my passport to the UK Border Agency to get my visa renewed for another 3 years. Three weeks after my application date, I got a letter giving me the go ahead to get my biometrics (fingerprinting) done so now all I can do is wait. According to the UKBA, they strive to process 75% of all visa applications within 4 weeks of an applicant’s biometrics appointment. I’m now entering week 3 and I’m hoping that my passport arrives in the post soon so I can make travel plans for this winter.
Assuming all goes well, I’ll be hopping over to Thailand for a couple of weeks, then rejoining the BF for a short winter break. Right now I’m trying to decide between Gibraltar and Helsinki/Tallinn. In the mean time, I’m stuck in the UK and have spent the last few weekends enjoying London and its surroundings. As the two year anniversary of my life in London approaches, I’ve had time to revamp my other blog www.girlinlondon.com . . . so check it out!
